Street Chic: Head 2 Toe

I've been meaning to get around to making a segment on my blog called "Street Chic." Yes, yes every blogger does it so i may as well help keep that tradition alive. Who will be there first person to be featured on my Street Chic post, If you haven't guessed by now. Its yours truley. Me! Haha

From head to toe: One of my new summer accessories, H&M fedora, Marc Jacobs charm necklace, Jimmy Choo Pour H&M Grey t-shirt with small pocked detail, H&M Biker Jacket, Quarts watch, an H&M leather studded belt (which you obviously can't see. Sorry!). Another one of my new summer accessories is my vintage Yves Saint Laurent clutch which i've recently discovered can be tossed onto any casual to chic outfit and can still make an outfit scream glamour. Jeans: random, probably urban behavious- inexspensive but long lasting and last but not least my brand new- vintage army/combat steal toe boots very cute and very "hard"

Stay tuned for more amazing Street Chic outfits from either yours truley or a random stranger or two.

Its about time for a few new summer trade marks.

A cool vintage looking greyish-black H&M fedora and a vintage Yves Saint Laurent clutch. These two together or seperate will have a chance at being my new summer accessories, there still of course on a two week probation haha i need to see if they go together with my other clothes and accessories. The hat i chose because.. we'll to be completely honest it was an intoxicated inpulse purchase that i grew to love the second day of owning it and the clutch, i traded for my vintage Chanel half tint sunglasses. YES- you read correctly the Chanel half tints are no more. Accessories come and go. Yes i loved them to pieces but i'm growing up and my style is constantly changing as much as i would have loved them to stick around for decades to come, thats pretty impossible cause we all change- constantly. So back to the main topic, keep your eye out for these two bad boys and whatever one you see more, is of course the one that will stick around for a long while.

Michel's Baguette

One of my favourite places to go for lunch, enjoy a pastrie (or 2) and/or coffee would have to be Michel's Baguette. Baguette was founded in 1979 and its first location was at Toronto Eaton Center, now there are over 13 locations in Ontario. What makes Michel's Baguette café different from other cafés? its the premium quality and great selection of pastries, sandwiches and salads. Not only could you smell the pastries but you could see them being baked throughout the day...not just in the morning!

I am closest to the Yorkdale location so when i go there with a few friends, or even by myself just to get away from the fast pase lifei live, i order my personal favourites: the vegitarian pizza, the lemon tart, and the chocolate almond croissant.

above are some shots of the café, i assume taking photos without peoples permission is not okay but i couldn't resist.

My chocolate almost croissant, portuguese pastries that Manuela bought from the obvious, a portuguese dessert shop, and Vitamin Water (dragonfruit, or pomegranate xxx) which is a must while having lunch :) Its a rule. Then a shot of me wearing YSL and a House of Harlow 1960 necklace with my new bag from H&M.
I thought i was quite casual, don't you think so?

Michel's Baguette is a wonderful place if you wanna grab lunch with a few friends and just relax, i enjoy going there so much i try and make it a weekly thing.

PARISIENNE, YVES SAINT LAURENT

The Essence of a woman who is incredibly free. She is not from Paris but Paris adopts her. Because she knows how to love, how to live. PARISIENNE, the fragrance of ultra femininity, ultra sensuality. A grand floral with a woody structure, luminous even in its mystery
